Each piece of Madisonware is hand created by me using hand-building techniques. Because each piece is made by hand there are slight imperfections in the glaze and variations in design and shape. These variations are part of the natural characteristics of my designs and why they are so special and hopefully why you are drawn to my pieces. Besides ... perfection and symmetry are very overrated. ;)

All Madisonware is glazed with lead-free & food safe glazes.
Hand-washing is recommended due to gold detailing.
Plates have unglazed bottoms, and unglazed clay will retain moisture, so it is best to make sure they are thoroughly dried before setting on any wooden surface.
Not recommended for Oven or Microwave due to gold detailing.
